Hi Everyone! My name is Jesse, and I’m about 2-1/2 years old. I am a handsome parti-cocker and shy boy who can be a little fearful of new people at first, but I will warm up to you, follow you around, enjoy sitting on your lap and being petted, and just want to be loved. I like animal crackers as treats! When I came to rescue as a stray, my foster mom knew something was wrong with my mouth because it was sensitive, but we got that fixed. It turns out I had a cracked canine tooth which was recently fixed by my dentist. I feel so much better! I am good on a leash and enjoy walks. I love the female canines, but I’m not as easy going with the males. Guess you could say I like girls the best! I’ve had all my vaccinations, have been neutered, and will soon start my heart worm treatment. I’d probably be best as an only dog or with a calm female. Because I am still not secure in a new situation, my rescue thinks it would be best for me not to be in a home with small children. I do fine in a crate and appear to be housebroken.
