Hannah needs a New Year’s miracle! She was in a shelter in Korea for about two years and we were blessed to have her flight expenses donated so we could bring her to the states. When Hannah arrived, we took her to the vet and found out she had a mammary tumor (which was malignant), had horrible teeth (lost quite a few with her dental), and was heartworm positive. Fortunately, when the tumor was removed, they felt like they got it all (clean margins) so we feel good about that. Hannah is about 9 – 10 years old but acts like she’s about 2 or 3! Her eyes/ears are good and she has a feisty personality. She is great with other dogs/cats/kids, etc., and loves to snuggle on the sofa with her human and watch TV.

Her only problem is she has to go potty often or she will have accidents. We are treating her for a UTI but we think part of the problem is that she’s used to going whenever she wants due to living in a crate for two years. Nothing grew on her culture. She wears girly pants and tolerates them well so it’s not a problem. We need someone to open their hearts and their home to this sweet baby. She’s only 14 lbs so she doesn’t take up much room! Our vet feels that she will tolerate the heartworm treatment well so she will be starting that soon. We have been so lucky to find wonderful homes for our other seniors/special needs rescues so we’re hoping to find an angel to adopt Hannah!
