Millie and her puppiesMillie and her puppies came to us as part of group effort by several Cocker groups to rescue dogs from a puppy mill in Eastland, Texas….approximately 30 adult cocker spaniels, as well as several litters of puppies were seized as part of the bust.
Some of the dogs were taken by rescue groups in North Texas. Cocker Spaniel Rescue – Austin/San Antonio went up to Eastland on Saturday, February 25, and picked up the remaining cockers and brought them back to divide among the other rescue groups in the area.
Houston Cocker Spaniel Rescue took a leap of faith and committed to two adult females, as well as a mom with a litter of five puppies which were born only three days earlier!
