Holly is a 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was rescued from a puppy mill in Oklahoma and found her way to Houston Cocker Spaniel Rescue.  In the puppy mill, she had been forced to have many litters of puppies, was badly neglected, and had no socialization.
Since being in foster care, Holly has made impressive progress in becoming a family pet.  She knows her name and comes when she’s called, she can walk on a leash, and ride in a doggie car seat. She’s working very hard at housetraining and is accident-free as long as she is kept to a regular schedule of outdoor potty breaks.  She loves to be near her humans, and her favorite thing is to snuggle with one of them on the couch, the bed, or in a chair.
