Oreo was turned in to the shelter when a good Samaritan found him on the road narrowly escaping being run over. We think he may have been clipped by the car because he had some minor injuries to his face which have now healed. He was checked out by the vet and they couldn’t find anything wrong so he’s good to go! Oreo has been aged at 3 – 5 years old and has the cutest face with a personality to match! He also has a wonderful temperament and seems to get along with all canines and felines in his foster home.
When we got a call from the shelter about this boy, we were warned that he was a mess, but we had no idea how bad he really was until we started grooming him. It took hours to “shear” him like a sheep and he was a trooper through the entire ordeal. Grady is a 4 – 5 year old sweetheart who surprisingly was already neutered under all his mats, but unfortunately is heartworm positive. He is in a good place now and is getting the love and care he deserves. Grady won’t be ready to adopt until he gets through his treatment, but will be a gem of a companion to some lucky family!
See “after” pictures of Grady below!
Olivia is a beautiful 6-yr old girl who was surrendered to us because she didn’t get along with the other dog in the house. She comes with a tub of balls so get your throwing arm ready! Her favorite activity is to chase her balls and bring them back. She even knows when it’s time to quit and will stop when you give the word. Olivia would best in an all adult home (older kids ok) and she’s housetrained and loves to sleep with her human. Although she would love to be the only canine in the family, she seems to be ok with felines!
Hannah, a 3 – 4 year old girl, just came in from the shelter, and boy was she a mess. She looked like she had dreadlocks! Since we had to shave her, it’s hard to tell what she really is, but we’ve been told she may be a Maltipoo! We thought she had some cocker spaniel in her but has more of the poodle coat, so naturally, we took her, but whatever Hannah is, she’s cute! We believe she had been abandoned because she seems very insecure and doesn’t like to be left alone. But, the rewards are huge when you see her face light up when she looks at you….she’s a real sweetheart and would love to snuggle and sleep with her human.
