We need foster homes as we feel it is very important to have these dogs in a home environment where they can bloom.  We feel the foster family should have a say in the eventual outcome of the dog; therefore, we intend to maintain a close relationship with these foster homes to insure they feel an important part of the organization.

Before placing these dogs into their forever homes, it is essential to see how they interact  not only with the humans in their foster home, but also other pets.  Please open your home and heart to help these dogs in need…..not only will it change your life, it will change the life of a deserving cocker spaniel!

We are in the process of developing a foster application; however, in the meantime, please fill out our adoption application and mention that you are interested in fostering.  Much of the same information we need for adoptive applicants we will need for foster applicants.

Houston Cocker Spaniel Rescue was formed by two cocker spaniel lovers who have over 25 years combined experience in “rescuing” Cocker Spaniels.  With so many homeless cocker spaniels in the Greater Houston area, Houston Cocker Spaniel Rescue focuses primarily on rescuing dogs in North Harris County and Montgomery County where there is a dire need.  We hope that we can make a difference, especially in those areas.
