Hi! My name is Beau. I am a loving handsome silver buff boy, but I do have some special needs. You see, I was abandoned a few times and had been medically neglected when I came to rescue so I had a few problems to correct. I am in good shape now and ready to find my special home. I love, love, love all of my stuffed toys and sleep with them at night in my crate. I don’t like to be away from my human much because I have been abandoned before. I am a boy who needs to be an only dog because I dearly grow to love the person who loves and cares for me and can become jealous. I need a big back yard to run in so I can use up my extra energy because I am very athletic and curious. I am possessive of the person who I love. There is nothing I enjoy more than to be hugged and loved by my special person. I will bring all of my toys where you are and play nicely with them before I cuddle up next to you and take a snooze. That makes me very happy! My vet says I need a scheduled and structured home with little traffic and activity.  This helps keep me calm, so young children would not be good for me. I am crate and house trained and would feel better with someone home most of the day. I do just fine with my vet and with my groomer, but I always have to make the first move to feel I can trust; then, I am fine. I love my foster mom so much, and she is my best friend. She tells everyone she loves me and there isn’t anything she can’t do with me. That is because I totally trust her.

Meet Paisley, a new girl who was surrendered right after Harvey came through.  Paisley is a sweet, petite 3 yr old who has great manners and loves everyone!   She appears to be house trained and gets along well with other dogs and cats.  This girl is about as perfect as you can get :)

Meet Scout, Tracker & Trooper!  These 7 yr old boys came in last weekend from Louisiana due to their owner passing away.  They are littermates and have had their entire world turned upside down.  They are having to adjust to a lot of changes so we’ll be posting more soon!

Hello, everybody! My name is Toby, and I am a playful 4 year old curly chocolate boy! I am a happy guy who would be good with children. Right now I have a few allergies that we are getting under control.  My eyes have been itchy,  but now I have medicine for them and my skin, too.  My doctor put me on a vegetarian food to help both my allergies and to lose weight. You see,  I am a few pounds overweight I guess from eating too many treats, so now I have some work to do to look my best. (more…)

Hi, I’m Lexie.  Okay, so I’m having a bad hair day…….not my fault.  Unfortunately, my hair was so badly matted that most of it had to go.  I may not look as gorgeous as I will when my strawberry blonde hair grows in, but my foster mom says I’m the sweetest little mystery mix cuddle bunny ever!  I am calm, quiet, and friendly with all the doggies here and play nicely with everyone.  I even like the kitties, but I especially love people!  I am truly a lap dog.  “Mom” says my kisses are extra special and I’ll give you oodles of them if you’ll adopt me!  I am 4 yrs old, weigh approximately 13 pounds (although I’m really trying to put on some weight) and although at first they thought I was a cockapoo, I’m looking more like a “Lhasapoo” — what do you think?  I am showing my picture before my haircut so you can see what I looked like when I first came in!
