Little Molly came in from a family who could no longer keep her. She was well-loved and has a wonderful temperament! Molly is a little Velcro dog….wanting to be with her human at all times. She is very playful with others and would be a good all around family dog; however, she does tend to be a little rambunctious with the felines! Molly is about 1-1/2 years old and ready to find her forever home!
Remember “Charlie,” the Louisiana boy whose owner abandoned him leaving him to fend for himself? A dedicated rescuer was determined to get him to Texas and pulled together a great transport team to get Charlie to us! That was in December of 2013. Charlie was heartworm positive but after he was treated, he was adopted out in the Spring of 2014 to what we all believed would be his forever home. Holly is a 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was rescued from a puppy mill in Oklahoma and found her way to Houston Cocker Spaniel Rescue. In the puppy mill, she had been forced to have many litters of puppies, was badly neglected, and had no socialization. Since being in foster care, Holly has made impressive progress in becoming a family pet. She has learned her name and comes when she’s called, she can walk on a leash, and ride in a doggie car seat. She’s working very hard at housetraining and is accident-free as long as she is kept to a regular schedule of outdoor potty breaks. She loves to be near her humans, and her favorite thing is to snuggle with one of them on the couch, the bed, or in a chair. Read More→
