My name is Heidi, and I was found as a stray on the streets of Houston and taken to the shelter by a concerned citizen. My pretty ears were wads of mats, but the vet and groomer took care of that fast! I am about four years old and as cute and sweet as can be. I am a small and happy girl who loves to run and play in the yard, and I don’t mind my foster mom’s other dogs. I am crate trained and appear to be house trained. My foster mom thinks I was once crated for too long at a time, and so I am learning I can go more often now. She even took me to the vet to have me checked out because she was worried, but the vet says I am fine and just need some time to relax and feel secure in a new routine. I am getting ready to be spayed and have my teeth cleaned. I am also on medication for an ear infection but am eating well and feeling great! I will be ready for my forever home very soon. I think I would be a good family dog and a good fit in just about any home. Sending Cocker Kisses, Heidi
UPDATE: Heidi is in a foster-to-adopt home now while she is going through heartworm treatment.
