Lucky is a 5 year old beautiful red cocker spaniel (maybe part English?) who loves to go on walks; he walks beautifully on a leash and is a big boy. Lucky also enjoys playing ball, but mostly, he enjoys being by your side. A gentle and loving and cooperative soul in temperament, he seeks affection and approval. If you are watching TV, you can bet Lucky will be on the floor right by you and will be behaving himself. (more…)
Lola is a three year old adorable cocker-schnauzer mix. She’s a happy, full of life little girl, who loves her walks. She can get a little excited on walks because she likes to explore, but she’s not unmanageable. Lola loves her toys and playing catch with them. She also enjoys sitting next to you on the sofa and watching TV. Although Lola would enjoy back yard play with young children, she might knock down a toddler due to her excitable nature. She crates well and is house trained, gets along well with other dogs, and is not prone to barking. Overall, Lola is a happy go lucky and fun girl who is easy going! She’s a beauty and ready for her forever home!
Well, look at lucky me! I am the lucky off breed pup for 2018, saved from the euthanasia list at the county shelter by Houston Cocker Spaniel Rescue. Every year they save one pup for Christmas, and this year they picked me. I am about 8-9 months old and in good health. I’m doing well with my potty training and will go outside if you remember to take me. I’m trying my best to learn to walk well on a leash and am making progress everyday. (more…)
Little Nicholas (“Nick”) was sprung from the shelter on Christmas Eve….just in time for Santa! Now, all he wants is his own home. He is very active, young (about 1 – 2 yrs old) and is a beautiful boy as well! He does have a little stubborn streak, so he needs an owner who will be firm with him. Ideally, he would be a great candidate for an obedience class just to teach him manners and to bond with his owner. We don’t believe he has had much attention paid to him during his short life, so he would definitely benefit from a puppy class. This little guy is so loving and is starved for affection. Just make sure you have plenty of balls because he is a ball freak!
